you guys. his music. go listen. do it. now. specifically The Great Ascent and The Great Descent. they’re amazing songs. well, all of them are fantastically written, but those are my favorites. obsessed with this at the moment. oh, and if you need yet another reason to give him a listen, the whole album’s basically a love song. here’s the description:

“This album was written between September 18, 2011 and May 10, 2012, during the 236 days my girlfriend was abroad and we were apart. In many ways, it is an album of love, remembering, projecting, and wondering; in many other ways, it is the only way I can articulate how I felt that year.”
